Understanding Injuries: It’s All Connected
One of the most common mistakes people make when dealing with joint pain (whether it’s in the shoulder, knee, or hip) is treating the symptom rather than the source. At ThriveFit, we take a more functional, whole-body approach because pain in one area is often caused by dysfunction in the joint above or below. For example, tight hips can lead to lower back discomfort, and weak ankles often contribute to knee pain. In our Ponte Vedra Beach gym, we frequently work with clients from Nocatee and surrounding areas who are surprised to learn that addressing mobility and strength in adjacent joints can dramatically reduce pain and improve performance.
